Raw Psychology Sex and Sexuality Project
CONTENT ADVISORY
Adult documentary sites are not recommended for sensitive viewers or young children.
Adult documentary sites are not intended for children nor for directly assisting young children in sex education because the publishing process is instantaneous and we do not have professional staff to review entries.
If you are a parent that has found your child was gaining access to our sites, we would like to remind you that it is natural for young people to have curiosity about sex and sexual behaviors at any age. Although this is normal childhood curiosity, we do not recommend our sites for children. We suggest that you warn and mildly reprimand your child by explaining to them that they are not yet old enough for this type of content. Also, we feel that the parent should do everything possible to make thier children feel comfortable about approaching you regarding sexual questions. Try not to over-react. Do not embarrass or humiliate or punish the child. This tends to make things worse. If after talking with your child, you find that they are not compliant with your warning, we recommend that you search for Internet Parental Controls so that the content of our sites can be filtered and blocked on your computer before the content is viewed by your child.
Although we attempt to edit out overly lewd and profane entries, it is impossible and not in our best interest to censor all vulgar language referring to sex activities and practices. We have attempted to filter most profane language by automatically blocking certain words from being published. Nevertheless, some content may still be offensive to some viewers. We reserve the right to publish anatomically correct (naked) diagrams, illustrations, and pictures if used for instruction or education.
In the past, we have made attempts to insert ICRA (Internet Content Ratings Association) code snippets into the pages on our sites in an effort to exclude children from accessing the site. However, this only caused our site to be restricted on search engines so adults could not find the sites. In addition, most young people were Internet-savvy enough to adjust their search engine settings, browser settings, and parental controls to access our sites. This ultimately caused the exact opposite result of what we intended as more children than ever began to dominate the pages of our sites.
Sensitive Viewer Issues
Before you complain - A significant number of people believe that freely documenting sexual ideas and behaviors leads individuals to such problems as: moral decay, sex addiction, infidelity, increased homosexuality, premarital sex, and various other moral issues. Free speech allows us to document as many different viewpoints on sexuality as possible in order to maintain documents that allow us to examine different issues regarding human sexuality. If you have stumbled upon some content that is outlandish, please remember that our publishing process often occurs instantly. There may be outlandish content on the sites that we have not had a chance to remove. There are two ways to let your opinion on the issues be heard (1) Write an article yourself and publish it on the site. We do not delete negative points of view or points of view that we might not agree with. (2) Check the following page to see if the content is a violation of our guidelines Guidelines and Violations Reporting
